A quick update ....

I know I'm behind in my promise for a house update and pics. I'm too lazy to go to my home computer right now and upload pics so I'm just going to offer a quick update. The first transition to our new home came today .... Henry started attending his new daycare. It was a ROUGH day. He had a little bit of trouble during the drive to St. Charles, and he hit 100% meltdown when we turned into the parking lot. He refused to eat and drink while he was there, but he did nap. He was definitely happy to see me when I arrived to pick him up. He told everyone goodbye, and even said "Goodbye school, see you tomorrow" as we pulled away. Within 20 minutes, he informed me that he was not going back on Tuesday. Like he has a choice! Well, he ate all the way home and we went out to dinner for some french fries. Poor little guy.

The house is coming along. Mike made a visit today to finalize our surround sound, satellite, and phone placement. He said the place was full of activity. That's all I'm going to tell you until I load some pics! Maybe tomorrow or the next day.

Look who's 3!!

Well, he's 3 now .... and getting cuter, taller, and smarter everyday!!

It's official ... our little guy, Henry, is officially a big boy and turned 3 years old on Saturday. We had a great party at our house, and Henry was spoiled rotten. All the big names were here ... Nana and Roger; Aunt Cindy, Uncle Mike, Rob, and Adam; Mimi and Bumpy; Uncle Rich, Uncle John, and Aunt Judy; Tim and Lauren; The Goskie clan; Shannon, Abby, and Maggie; and, last but not least, Kelly, Rob, and Luke. It was a full house, but we loved every minute of it. Thanks to everyone for all of the great presents Henry received. He loves them all!!

Henry did great at opening his presents, but he did want to stop once he saw the Night Rescue Buzz Lightyear from Tim and Diane. We managed to get the rest of the presents opened while Aunt Cindy rescued Buzz from his box. Henry didn't even mind that Aunt Cindy bought him underwear ... I guess it's OK when they're your first official undies with cool guys like Spider Man and Shrek. Henry also got a Plasma Car from Nana which is really neat. All of the kids loved it including Uncle Tim (mommy even rode it after everyone left). One of Henry's favorite presents was his own Fisher Price Digital Camera from Mimi and Bumpy. I'll post some of his pictures below. They are too cute. Today, we gave Henry is BIG present ... a battery operated Cadillac Escalade. He's still a little scared to drive it, but he loved sitting in it and listening to the radio ... yes, it has a real working FM radio!
